FIGHTING FANTASY

Video Games

Ever since The Warlock of Firetop Mountain was  turned into a simple arcade maze game for the ZX Spectrum by Crystal Computing  in 1983, Fighting Fantasy gamebooks have been re-imagined as digital dungeons.

There is currently a range of different adaptations of different books available for all manner of devices, including smart-phones and the Nintendo Switch, as well as the humble personal computer, made by companies such as the award-winning inkle studios, Tin Man Games, Nomad Games, and Branching Narrative.
