Live_BET Awards TV in Microsoft Theater LIVE 2019

The 2019 BET Awards will be a night full of celebration. On Sunday, stars will come together at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles to honor African Americans and other minorities for their achievements in film, television, music and other fields.

Regina Hall, who is known for her roles in “Little” and “Scary Movie,” will host the star-studded event. With various tributes and performances scheduled, fans won’t want to miss a moment of the action.

The 2019 BET Awards will air Sunday at 8 p.m. EDT. During that time, the show will simulcast across seven Viacom networks including BET, BET HER, MTV, MTV Classic, MTV 2, Logo and VH1.

Fans who prefer to watch online can live stream the award show at BET.Com or download the BET Now app to a mobile device. However, they will have to use their TV provider information to log in and gain live access to the ceremony.

Viewers can expect to see Cardi B, Migos, DJ Khaled, Lizzo, H.E.R., Lizzo, Lil Nas X, Billy Ray Cyrus, Kiana Ledé and more hit the stage during the show.

The 2019 BET Awards will honor Nipsey Hussle posthumously with the humanitarian award. “As a prolific artist and leader, Nipsey Hussle was zealous about driving change for the betterment of his community, empowering and employing those in need and being an influential and highly respected activist,” Connie Orlando, head of programming at BET said in a press release.

“We will continue to remember his advocacy and be inspired by the groundwork he set forth and his dire commitment to social change,” she added.

Meanwhile, Mary J. Blige will receive the lifetime achievement award for her accomplishments in music, film and philanthropy.

Eyes will also be on Cardi B, who leads this year’s nomination with seven nods. Beyoncé, J. Cole and Travis Scott trail behind her with four nominations each, while Bruno Mars, Ella Mai, Childish Gambino, H.E.R. and 21 Savage earned three nominations each.
