FFG: Did you yourself ever play role-playing
games?
No.
FFG: Do you still play games for pleasure?
If so what do you play?
Rarely have time, but I like chess, scrabble
and love backgammon (haven't played in years).
FFG: What is your connection with Fantasy
in particular or Steve Jackson or Ian Livingstone now?
You'll have to be more precise. Steve (or his
company) sent me a small royalty check a few months ago. Ian
replied with a nice letter a good while ago when I was enquiring
about work at Eidos.
FFG: Do you keep in contact with any
other FF artist, editor or writer?
Not really.
FFG: If you hadn't been an artist, what
do you think you would have been?
No idea. Did look at being an Artist's Agent
at one point. I've worked as a teacher and lecturer for many
years.
FFG: What other books have you worked
on?
FORBIDDEN LANDS, Sorry, cannot recall all just
of the top of my head.
FFG: Do you enjoy reading? If you do
and you get the time, what books are your favourites?
Used to be a voracious reader. Rarely seem to
have the time these days. Reading at present - last in the superb
Niccolo series GEMINI, by Dorothy Dunnett (Big fan). Latest
Flashman, first Harry Potter and soon will read latest Terry
Prachatt. Several books on Art and Art theory and anything else
which catches my eye.
FFG: Whereabouts were you born, what
year?
Born in Glasgow, Scotland. Lived most of life
in village of Dunning, before college, then after moved to England.
This will have to do for the present.
FFG: Cheers, Russ
