The city of Zengis (also known as the City of Wares) has the largest concentration of temples, priests and priestesses in Allansia. A plethora of religions are worshipped by the inhabitants. Zengis’s largest church is the Celestial Hall, a temple to Asrel under the control of the High Priest Fhan Myorang.
The Flatlands is a wide, open steppe land that extends between Old Allansia and the eastern reaches of the Allansian Continent. It is home to many tribes of nomadic mounted barbarians. The Nomadic barbarians are dangerous enemies and while they continue to fight amongst themselves they will remain a harmless foe. Throughout history they have attempted to launch an assault on the numerous towers of the Trolltooth pass, and each time Salamonis has protected the west.

COMPETITION 7: NOW CLOSED
Draw the wily sorcerer Yaztromo
Win Digital Fantasy Painting Workshop Book

This month we have another terrific Fighting Fantasy competition. All of the Fighting Fantasy Gamebook's have had some fantastic covers by award-winning artists such as Les Edwards, Mel Grant, Ian McCaig, Ian Miller, and of course Martin McKenna. Martin has recently produced a lavish new Digital Fantasy Painting Workshop book that tackles the genre - fantasy, science fiction and horror - including detailed step-by-step workthroughs to show how these images are produced. Featuring work from some of the world's leading fantasy artists, and some of Mel Grant and Martin's Fighting Fantasy Gamebook covers, this book explores the emerging 'tradigital' mix of traditional and digital skills.

We have two copies of the Digital Fantasy Painting Workshop in competition 8 to give away and to win we want to see if you too have an artistic side. We want you to show us and every Fighting Fantasy fan across the globe your fan art! We're looking for hand-drawn or computer generated pictures of the the wily sorcerer Yaztromo.
